Well PJ stopped throwing up on the hour and seems to be feeling fine today. But now Cyndi’s fever has gone back up. Amazingly I haven’t gotten sick yet, thanks to Emergen-C, Purell and washing just about everything in sight of a sick person.
The secret to making the perfect barf bucket, is first having a large stainless steel bowl. I mean really large, you really need to be able to wretch into the thing, being able to grab on to the sides and throw your weight into it and it needs to be deep too. I found a 18-incher at IKEA several years ago that is perfect.

The unemployment rate is high, the dollar is low, people are losing their homes, gas is likely to hit $4 a gallon. What the hell is going on?
No one wants to admit that we are in a recession. Fearing that by admitting it that the economy will somehow get worse. Here is an idea: what about admitting that we are in a recession and lets start talking about what we are going to do to get out of it?
