Big advertisers turn to the iPhone
It isn’t quite there yet, but the iPhone is a huge undiscovered advertising platform. Brands just need to figure out a way to leverage it in a consumer-centered way. A concept unfortunately foreign to most advertising agencies.

iPhone App Store Revenue Numbers
TechCrunch chimes in exactly how much the App Store is making for Apple. I’ve actually done a bit of work forecasting how much volume the App Store does. From my research the App Store is grossing $1.6m a day, $491k of that going to Apple. That means they should make $44m in Q2 App Store revenue and $46m in Q3.
AT&T claims twice as many smartphones
AT&T says its customer base now boasts twice as many smartphone users as any other U.S. operator, saying 32% of it’s customers have smartphones, but that doesn’t include the iPhone.
I think this shows what we define as a “feature phone” is starting to go away entirely.
