Today I have to report for a Jury Summons. I received the summons about six months ago and postponed it. They told me to pick a random date on the calendar, so I picked today, thinking mid-February would be best time of the year. Boy was I wrong.

I believe in serving my duty as a citizen, but now is the worst possible time to get selected as a juror. So I will report, wait to be called and hope for the best.
